The Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup Series heads to Barber Motorsports Park for Rounds 11 and 12 of the 2026 season as the championship enters its final four races. A field of 26 drivers is set to take on the “Alabama Rollercoaster,” including Will Conklin, who will make his Legends Cup debut with BSI Racing, and Lucas Rowell, who joins Copeland Motorsports for the weekend.
The championship points battle is heating up after Jeremy Fletcher swept the previous race weekend at Road America, gaining 32 points on championship leader Spike Kohlbecker to close the gap to just 13 points. RVA Graphics Motorsports teammates Will Robusto and Max Schweid find themselves in a tight battle for third with 125 and 120 points, respectively. Parker DeLong rounds out the top five in the driver standings with 85 points.
In the team championship, TechSport Racing continues to lead the standings, with Copeland Motorsports in second, just 24 points behind. RVA Graphics Motorsports holds third, while BSI Racing and Eagles Canyon w/ Fast Track round out the top five.
Weekend Schedule
The sixth race weekend of 2026 will begin on Thursday, Sept. 24, as teams take on the 2.38-mile circuit for two test sessions, followed by two additional practice sessions on Friday.
Racing action begins Saturday, Sept. 26, with Race 1 qualifying at 1:00 p.m. CT, followed by the first race of the weekend at 3:40 p.m. CT.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet all GR Cup Series drivers during a 30-minute autograph session from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m. CT in the Fan Zone. Event posters will be available for drivers to sign.
Sunday will conclude the weekend with Race 2 qualifying in the morning, followed by Race 2 going green at 10:25 a.m. CT.
Both races will be streamed live on grcupseries.com and the GT World YouTube channel.
