Spike Kohlbecker earned his fourth Continental Tire Pole Award of the season and led every lap of Saturday's Race 1 at Barber Motorsports Park en route to a historic 14th career GR Cup victory. With the dominant performance, Kohlbecker officially claims the top spot on the GR Cup All-Time wins list, surpassing 2024 champion Gresham Wagner.
The battle at the front was fierce from the drop of the green flag. Championship leaders Kohlbecker and Jeremy Fletcher shared the front row and raced nose-to-tail for the first 40 minutes of the race. Further back in the field, drama unfolded early when the No. 11 of Garrett Manes was assessed a 10-second post-race penalty following contact with RVA Graphics Motorsports' teammate Will Robusto. Despite the contact setting him back, Robusto mounted a charge through the field to rescue a fifth-place finish.
The late-race intensity peaked when contact between Legends Cup driver Alcyr Araujo and Carter Wilson sent Araujo’s No. 77 GR86 sliding into the Turn 5 sand, triggering a late-race caution. On the ensuing restart, Parker DeLong took the green flag in third and immediately made his move on Fletcher to secure second place, cementing a 1-2 finish for TechSport Racing behind his winning teammate, Kohlbecker.
Kohlbecker cruised across the finish line for the milestone victory, with DeLong, Fletcher, Max Schweid, and Robusto rounding out the top five. Ethan Goulart earned a strong sixth-place finish, while Malbec Ramos, Amilio DiLauro, Michael Edwards, and Ryan Power completed the top 10.
WWEX Group Legends Cup
In his GR Cup Series debut, Will Conklin captured the WWEX Group Legends Cup victory driving for BSI Racing. Rutledge Wood finished with a second-place podium finish in front of his home crowd, while Alcyr Araujo recovered from the late-race spin to secure third.

In addition to his victory, Kohlbecker captured his 28th GR Cup podium finish, extending his commanding lead on the all-time list. Behind him, TechSport Racing teammate DeLong notched his fourth career podium, all of which have come during the 2026 season. Fletcher's third-place effort marks his 11th career podium, moving him into a tie for fifth all-time.

- Fastest Lap: Despite finishing third, Jeremy Fletcher clocked the fastest lap of the race on Lap 6 with a blistering time of 1:38.168.
- Hard Charger: Nitro Motorsports driver Jay Thomas earned Hard Charger honors after slicing through the field from 20th to secure a 12th-place finish.
- Endava Highest Finishing Female: Ava Schletz claimed her fourth Highest Finishing Female award of the season with a career-best 11th-place result.
- WWEX Group Highest Finishing Legend: Will Conklin capped off his series debut by securing the Highest Finishing Legend contingency honors with an 18th-place overall finish.
