Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup Series heads to Road Atlanta for the first time since the series' inception. A strong field of 29 drivers is set to take on the 2.54-mile, 12-turn road course, including GR Cup newcomers Robert Mosteller, Slater Colby, and Joe Rainey.
Spike Kohlbecker extended his lead in the drivers' championship standings following a pair of podium finishes at Circuit of The Americas in April. Kohlbecker now holds a 53-point advantage over Jeremy Fletcher in second, while Max Schweid and Will Robusto sit eight and 10 points behind Fletcher, respectively. Ethan Goulart rounds out the top five.
In the team championship, TechSport Racing leads Copeland Motorsports by 28 points. RVA Graphics Motorsports, BSI Racing, and Eagles Canyon Racing with Fast Track Racing complete the top five.
Weekend Schedule
Testing begins at Road Atlanta on Thursday, June 11, before official practice sessions on Friday, June 12, and Race 1 qualifying on Saturday, June 13, at 10:15 a.m. ET. The first race of the weekend is scheduled to go green Saturday afternoon at 4:25 p.m. ET.
Prior to Saturday’s race, fans will have the opportunity to meet all GR Cup Series drivers during a 30-minute autograph session from 1:30-2:00 p.m. ET in the Fan Zone located above the paddock. Event posters will be available for drivers to sign.
Sunday wraps up Round 8 of the 2026 season with Race 2 qualifying in the morning, followed by Race 2 going green at 1:10 p.m. ET.
