Kohlbecker Earns Fourth Win of Season at COTA, Takes Over All-Time Podium Lead

Jeremy Fletcher earned his second consecutive Continental Tire Pole Award on Sunday morning ahead of Race 2 at Circuit of the Americas, lining up alongside Max Schweid of RVA Graphics Motorsports.

As the field roared to life, Fletcher was able to pull away from the field while Schweid and Spike Kohlbecker engaged in a fierce battle for second throughout the 45-minute race. Fletcher was ultimately handed a 13-second post-race time penalty for track limits violations, shifting the fight between Schweid and Kohlbecker into a battle for the win.

Kohlbecker was able to overtake Schweid as the two ran nose-to-tail through the final corners of the 20-turn circuit. Coming out of Turn 20, the drivers were side-by-side as Kohlbecker edged out Schweid to earn his fourth victory of the season by just 0.182 seconds. Fletcher was relegated to a third-place finish following the penalty.

Just behind the leaders, Will Robusto and Parker DeLong battled for fourth position until Robusto completed the pass with less than 10 minutes remaining, as he and DeLong rounded out the top five.

Podium

Kohlbecker’s fourth win of the season moves him into sole possession of first all-time on the GR Cup podiums list with 25, passing 2025 champion Westin Workman.

Schweid finished second to earn his fifth career GR Cup podium and third of the season, while Fletcher notched his sixth career podium finish.
