Fletcher Claims Second Win of 2026 Season at Circuit of the Americas

Jeremy Fletcher earned his third Continental Tire Pole Award of the season and held off the field over 45 minutes to claim his second win of the year at Circuit of the Americas. Ethan Ayars earned his first front-row start alongside Fletcher, with Malbec Ramos and GR Cup points leader Spike Kohlbecker lining up right behind them.

Ayars held onto second position until Kohlbecker made the pass on Lap 5, setting his sights on Fletcher for the race lead. RVA Graphics Motorsports teammates Will Robusto and Max Schweid charged forward, closing in on the leaders in the fight for a podium position.

Just as Schweid was closing in on third, his No. 98 machine was forced to retire following an incident, opening the door for Robusto to move into podium contention. Robusto ultimately crossed the line in third but was assessed a post-race penalty, promoting Ayars to the podium.

Niko Colby earned a top five finish in his GR Cup debut, while Ryan Power recorded his first career top 10 finish in eighth.

Podium

Fletcher’s second career win marked his fifth podium finish in the GR Cup Series, while Kohlbecker moved into a tie for first all-time with 24 career podiums. Ayars, in third, earned his first career podium finish.

WWEX Group Legends Cup

In the Legends class, Alcyr Araujo led the charge to earn his first career WWEX Group Legends Cup victory after three consecutive third-place finishes. Dream Machine @ Eagles Canyon Racing teammates Andrew Gilleland and Tom Rudnai rounded out the Legends Cup podium.
