The Toyota Gazoo Racing North America (TGNRA) GR Cup Series makes their way north to Road America for Round 9 and 10 of the 2024 season. Dubbed the ‘National Park of Speed’, the 4.025-mile, 14-turn road course is an old school road course that is highly regarded and sure to provide a challenge for both new and experienced drivers.

Just past the halfway point of the season Copeland Motorsports driver Gresham Wagner sits atop the leaderboard with 178 points over teammate Westin Workman (135). Spike Kohlbecker’s win and double-podium finish at VIR boosted him into third in the standings with 117 points followed by Jaxon Bell (113) and Lucas Weisenberg (77).

What to Expect

30 drivers are set to take on Road America including Yuki Sano and Kazuhisa Urabe who will be making their GR Cup Series debut. Drivers will get a feel for the 4.025-mile road course on Thursday and Friday with four on-track sessions before racing action begins on Saturday, August 17 at 1:55 PM CT. Sunday, August 18 will conclude the action packed weekend with the green flag set to drop at 12:15 PM CT.

Both races are streamed live on grcup.com and the GT World YouTube page. Fans can also catch all the racing action by joining Ash Vandelay on Twitch by following the SRO Motorsports channel. Vandelay hosts six-hour programs on Saturday and Sunday, where she is joined by drivers to chat with fans and provides insights into that day’s races.

Autograph Session / Parade

SRO America will be hosting a parade in downtown Elkhart Lake on Thursday, August 15 from 5-8 PM CT. Drivers and teams will make their down WI-67 and towards downtown Elkhart Lake before parking in front of Siebkens Resort, allowing fans to get an up-close look at their GR86 Cup Cars.

Fans will have another opportunity to meet all GR Cup drivers on Sunday, August 18 during a 30-minute autograph session hosted at a location to be determined. The autograph session will take place from 10:30 AM – 11 AM CT with event weekend posters available to sign.

  • Three-day General Admission: $100
  • Friday General Admission: $40
  • Saturday General Admission: $55
  • Sunday General Admission: $55
  • Children 16 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
  • General Admission tickets grant attendees’ access to the paddock.
  • Tickets include complimentary parking.
