TechSport Racing Eyes Road America After Win at VIR

TechSport Racing’s stable of drivers are excited for rounds 9 &10 of GR Cup racing at Road America.  After their stellar Virginia International Raceway event, boasting a first and third place finish for #55 Spike Kohlbecker in race 1 & 2 respectively, a fifth-place finish for new team member Ethan Goulart and incredibly fast laps by team members Christian Weir, Devin Anderson and Alfonso Diaz, the team is ready to demonstrate what they are made of on the beautiful grounds of Road America. “The last two events, we have been fighting for wins consistently and we hope to move forward with this momentum, collecting more wins and podiums going into the closing half of the season.” Says Team Owner Deb Popolizio.

TechSport Racing is the reigning GR Cup Team Champions for the 2023 season and their drivers have seen top five finishes in all but one round of the 2024 season.  Team standout, Spike Kohlbecker has been incredibly strong all year with a deep pool of talent throughout the team.  The Road America lineup stands as: #55 Spike Kohlbecker, #22 Devin Anderson, #25 Alfonso Diaz, #47 Aiden Kirk and #71 Christian Weir.

The Road America rounds of the GR Cup season will be held on August 17 – 18, 2024.
