Spike Kohlbecker Racing, a #stlmade professional race car driver is pleased to announce his support and partnership with Valeda’s Hope in bringing Breast Cancer Awareness Month to the world’s largest racing stage, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“You’re going to be seeing PINK, lots of pink, when my car hits the track for the Toyota Gazoo North American Racing GR Cup season finale in October at Indy”, said Spike Kohlbecker the driver of the #55 car. “Valeda and I have been looking for an opportunity to advance her unique and impactful charity and decided, “Let’s go BIG – let’s go to Indy”, Kohlbecker exclaimed. Whether you’re at the track at Indy on October 4, 5, and 6 or watching from home, we hope you will consider supporting Valeda’s Hope at valedashope.org.
“Spike is just a great young man, his family has been long-time supporters of Valeda’s Hope and on behalf of all the women we serve we say thank you - we’re excited about bringing Valeda’s Hope PINK to the world of racing”, added Valeda’s Hope Founder, Valeda Keys.
“We navigate women through the breast cancer process from Mammogram to survivorship and educate women on health issues”. Valeda’s Hope is a 501c3 NFP organization that provides recliners to women that undergo a double mastectomy due to the diagnosis of breast cancer,” added Keys.
Our goal at Indy? Through the support of donations before the race and at the track, we’re going to “Sticker the Car Pink” … Spike’s red, white and blue livery, Ackerman Toyota #55 GR Cup car is about to get a makeover!
