TechSport Racing announces Ethan Goulart will Drive the #47 at VIR

The TechSport Racing  #47 GR Cup car will be piloted by 15 year old Ethan Goulart at the Virginia International Speedway event.  Ethan has a strong background in karting; having won multiple championships between 2014 and 2022.  In the past two years, Ethan has visited the podium multiple times in the highly competitive Spec Miata and Spec Racer Ford class.  Ethan was also a Mazda Shootout finalist in 2023 in his first season of racing cars. His most recent success includes podium finishes at VIR in the 2024 Hoosier Super Tour. Ethan states “I am extremely thankful and excited to join the TechSport Racing family. I have known the Andersons since I was barely walking and it’s now a real honor to have this opportunity to drive their car. This has been long time in the works, and it is exciting to see it all come together with the support of TechSport Racing, GR Performance Parts, DLTC Equipment, and the Sports Car Driving Association.”

Ethan comes from a heritage of exceptional racing.  His Grandfather ran a championship winning TC and TCA team.  Ethan’s father, Elivan, ran his first World Challenge race with TechSport in 2015. He won that race handily. Team principal, Kevin Anderson said “Ethan is like his father, an absolute natural.  The Goulart family take their racing seriously and I am really looking forward to seeing what he can do.”

Ethan joins teammates Spike Kohlbecker, Alfonso Diaz and Devin Anderson for the VIR event.  Kohlbecker has podiumed twice since the season began.

The Virginia International Speedway leg of the SRO season is July 15 – 17.
