BSI Racing Adds Maddie Aust

Racing driver Maddie Aust joins BSI Racing's Toyota GR Cup team for the 2024 season. Aust, just 18 years old, is a student at Texas Christian University and comes to BSI Racing with both open-wheel and sports car experience, transitioning from the world of competitive cheerleading to the professional racing circuit.

This will be Maddie's first year in the Toyota GR Cup, having spent the 2023 season with Fast Track Racing, where she drove a BMW M2 GS (Cup) car in the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School series. Aust has also spent time in WRL, adding endurance racing to her growing resume.

Aust earned her first career win as a professional driver in the TCX class last year at Virginia International Raceway. She boasted two wins in her stint as a Formula 4 driver, making 21 starts in the open-wheel series.

Aust will pilot the No. 09 Endava car for BSI. Endava, a next-gen technology services company, will serve as primary sponsor for the season.

"I am thrilled to be running the GR86 Cup with BSI Racing this year", said Aust.

"With this incredible team, I know I will have the support necessary to succeed on track and enhance my skills as a driver. I can't wait for the season to begin!"

Maddie Aust joins Max Hewitt as the team's second rookie in the series.

"We've added another driver with a lot of promise," said Team Owner Shea Holbrook.

"Maddie is a competitor through and through. She's gotten a lot of seat time since she moved to racing, and it shows. This is a highly competitive series, and I'm really excited to see what she does. I think she'll fit right in."

Maddie Aust and BSI Racing will begin the 2024 Toyota GR Cup at Sonoma Raceway on April 5.
