Max Schweid Joins RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate for 2026 Toyota GR Cup Season with Segra Support

St. Petersburg, FL –  RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate announced today that Max Schweid will compete in the 2026 Toyota GR Cup North America series, building on his successful rookie campaign and joining one of the series' most decorated operations.  Along with his new team, Max will be representing series partner Segra this year.

Schweid, a 19-year-old Asian-American from South Florida, made his professional racing debut in 2025, competing throughout the full season in the highly competitive Toyota GR Cup series. A mechanical engineering student at the University of Central Florida, Schweid has distinguished himself both on and off the track, taking internships in the motorsports industry to maximize his academic knowledge with practical applications.

"We're thrilled to welcome Max to the RVA Graphics Motorsports family," said Farran Davis, Team Development Manager. “Max demonstrated exceptional promise during his rookie season, his relentless commitment to performance and insatiable hunger to learn and improve, align perfectly with our team culture. With Segra's partnership, we have all the pieces in place to elevate Max's development and continue building championship-contending programs."

Team Engineer Chris Vallee emphasized the unique advantage of working with a driver who understands engineering principles. "It's exciting to add another engineer to the team," said Vallee. "Max's technical background allows for a deeper level of communication when it comes to vehicle setup and performance optimization. He doesn't just feel what the car is doing, he can help us understand why, which accelerates our development process significantly."

The partnership with Segra brings significant heritage to Schweid's program. As the Official IT Infrastructure Partner of Toyota Racing Development since the series' inaugural 2023 season, Segra has been a cornerstone supporter of the GR Cup, with branding featured on all series entries since the series began. The fiber infrastructure leader's commitment to the Toyota racing ecosystem creates a natural alignment for Schweid's continued development within the Toyota ladder system.
