The SRO America summer break has come to an end, and racing action returns to VIRginia International Raceway this weekend, July 18–20. Toyota Gazoo Racing North America (TGRNA)’s GR Cup Series will be on-site for Rounds 7 and 8 of the 2025 campaign.
25 drivers are slated to take on the 3.27-mile, 17-turn road course, including former GR Cup competitors Isabella Robusto (2023) and James Klimas (2024), who are making their return to the series. Meanwhile, Max Stallone will make his GR Cup debut in the No. 88 PT Autosport GR86.
During the last event in May at Sebring International Raceway, Westin Workman dominated the weekend, sweeping both Continental Tire Pole Awards and winning both races. His performance moved him to the top of the driver standings with 109 points, while Jaxon Bell (91) and Lucas Weisenberg (80) follow behind. Legends Cup competitor John Dean (64) and Ethan Goulart (54) round out the top five.
On the team side, BSI Racing leads with 111 points, followed by Copeland Motorsports (103), Lucas Racing (88), RVA Graphics Motorsports (83), and TechSport Racing (77).
Weekend Schedule
Drivers will return to the track for four test and practice sessions to prepare for the weekend, leading into Race 1 qualifying on Saturday morning at 8:55 AM ET. The green flag for Race 1 will drop at 2:05 PM ET.
Following Saturday’s racing action, the field will reset for Race 2 qualifying on Sunday at 8:40 AM ET, with Race 2 set to go green at 12:45 PM ET.
Both races will be streamed live on GRCup.com and the GT World YouTube channel.
Autograph Session
Fans will have an opportunity to meet all the GR Cup Series drivers on Saturday, July 19 during a 30-minute autograph session hosted at The Pavillion. The autograph session will take place from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM ET with event posters available to sign.

- Children 12 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
- General Admission tickets grants attendees’ access to the paddock.
