Westin Workman earned his second consecutive Continental Tire Pole Award for Race 2 at Sebring International Raceway, while Ethan Goulart of TechSport posted his best qualifying effort and lined up on the front row alongside Workman. As the field got up to speed, Workman made a clean getaway and controlled the lead through Turn 1, while Goulart went wide and fell back to fourth before settling in.
Right behind the leaders, Lucas Weisenberg and Ethan Ayars started their battle for the fifth position, as Weisenberg’s No. 46 machine got a push from Will Robusto to hold onto the position. Just under three minutes in, a full-course yellow deployed the safety car and brought the field back together, as Christian Weir of TechSport Racing was also making ground and just outside the top ten after starting in 15th.
As the race resumed, Bell charged to the outside of Workman as the two leaders were side by side entering Turn 1, but Bell couldn’t make his move stick, opening the door for Goulart, who powered past John Dean and closed in on Bell for the second position. Just over 20 minutes remained as battles throughout the field commenced between the No. 55 of Spike Kohlbecker and No. 71 of Christian Weir for a spot in the top ten. Just ahead of them, Robusto, Max Schweid, and Brett Kowalski were in a three-way battle for seventh.
With action throughout the field behind him, Workman began to extend his lead to over five seconds as Goulart was able to overtake Bell for the runner-up spot. Late drama unfolded as Ayden Kirk collided with Jackson Tovo in the hairpin at Turn 7, bringing Kirk’s No. 47 to a rest off the track, allowing the field to stay green with just a handful of minutes remaining.
Workman cruised to his second consecutive victory to complete the weekend sweep and take over the top of the driver standings with eight races remaining in the 2025 season.
