Parker DeLong earned his first career Continental Tire Pole Award on Saturday at Road America but was forced to retire prior to the start of the race due to mechanical problems on his No. 42 SoundGear Toyota GR86. Championship points leaders Spike Kohlbecker and Jeremy Fletcher ultimately led the field to green with rain threatening in the area.
Malbec Ramos started the race on wet-weather tires and drove from 11th to first in the opening two laps of the 45-minute race, building a seven-second lead before a drying track began to favor drivers on slick tires.
Max Schweid powered through the field from seventh and took over the lead from Ramos with Fletcher close behind. A full-course caution brought the field together late in the race, allowing Fletcher to capitalize on the restart as he and Kohlbecker overtook Schweid for the top two positions.
Fletcher remained out front when the race ultimately ended under full-course caution following an incident involving Ramos and Beltre Curtis. Fletcher took the checkered flag behind the safety car, earning his third victory of the 2026 GR Cup season and closing the gap to championship leader Kohlbecker, who finished second.

Patrick Brunson continued his strong season in the WWEX Group Legends Cup, picking up his fifth victory of the year. Alcyr Araujo finished second, while Rutledge Wood rounded out the podium with a third-place finish in his first start of the season.
