2024 Season Finale Won by Wagner

Following a fourth-place finish in Saturday’s race, TechSport Racing driver Spike Kohlbecker laid down the weekend's fastest lap in qualifying on Sunday morning to earn the Continental Tire Pole Award. Kohlbecker took the green flag for Race 2 alongside Gresham Wagner as the leaders were able to take advantage of track position early in the race.

On the third lap, the drivers made their way around the 2.439-mile 14-turn road course as the #89 Livio Galanti and #31 Luke Rumburg made contact. This sent Rumburg into the #21 Ford Koch, causing the #21 to spin out. #57 Mia Lovell also found herself with damage to her car.

The race resumed with 32 minutes remaining as Kohlbecker took the green flag. As this was the season finale, many position battles occurred throughout the field. The #30 Jackson Tovo and #47 Ayden Kirk battled it out for a top-ten finish, allowing the #51 Axel Cabrera to sneak into the mix. The #75 Miki Koyama, #39 Maximilian Hewitt, and #09 Maddie Aust fought for a top-fifteen finish. Meanwhile, in the back of the pack, Eagles Canyon Racing teammates Cody Jones and Keanu Reeves raced one another for position. Eventually, Jones slid out into the dirt, allowing Reeves to pass him.

With only seven minutes remaining, competition heated up between #99 Jaxon Bell, #2 Will Robusto, and #88 Henry Drury for the last podium position. #18 Jordan RickSegrini and #46 Lucas Weisenberg closed the gap as the line became five long. Drury passed Bell for fourth place in turn nine, as Bell got loose, allowing Weisenberg and RickSegrini to pass for a top-five finish battle. With three minutes remaining, Bell passed Weisenberg to reclaim the fifth-place position. On the last lap, Drury and Robusto fought for the last podium position, making contact in turn thirteen, allowing Robusto to pass. Bell snunk his way past Drury and, due to a penalty on Robusto, Bell claimed the third-place finish.

Wagner claimed the checkered flag, his 10th win of the season. Kohlbecker claimed second place, his 7th podium finish of the season.

Wagner, who already claimed the 2024 Driver’s Championship, adds to his record-breaking season with a 10th win. Kohlbecker claimed second place, making this his 7th podium finish of the season. Bell secured third place, making this his 7th podium finish of the season.
