After winning the opening two races of the 2024 season at Sonoma Raceway, Gresham Wagner (Copeland Motorsports) kept his momentum rolling by topping the charts in both practice sessions on Friday at Sebring International Raceway. Wagner posted nearly identical fast lap times of 2:24.631 and 2:24.642.
PRACTICE ONE | RESULTS
Wagner paced the field in opening practice with Westin Workman in second at a time of 2:24.810, followed by Jaxon Bell in third, and Mia Lovell in fourth. Lucas Weisenberg of Lucas Racing rounded out the top-five finishers with a time of 2:25.752.
PRACTICE TWO | RESULTS
The top three in the second practice session remained unchanged with Wagner, Workman, and Bell topping the charts followed by Spike Kohlbecker of TechSport Racing in fourth. Weisenberg once again rounded out the top-five after the 30-minute clock expired. BSI Racing showed speed in second practice as Jordan RickSegrini and Steven Clemons each finished in eighth and ninth, respectively.
WHAT’S NEXT
Saturday’s on-track activity for the GR Cup Series will kick off at 9:50 AM ET with Race 1 qualifying. Racing action will begin at 1:50 PM ET live on grcup.com or the GT World YouTube channel. Fans can also tune-in to the SRO Motorsports Twitch channel as Ash Vandelay hosts six-hour programs on Saturday and Sunday.
