Race Results

Gresham Wagner (TechSport Racing) earned the Continental Tire Pole Award and led the field to green alongside Race 1 winner Tyler Gonzalez (Copeland Motorsports). Wagner was able to pull ahead and gain control of the lead as the field made their way through Turn 1 for the first time. The race was green for just 10 minutes before a three-car incident brought out the Safety Car for a full course yellow. Due to additional track clean up, the caution last 15 minutes before the field was brought back together and ready to go racing again.

Gonzalez took advantage of the restart and overtook Wagner for the lead coming out of Turn 1 with just under 20 minutes to go. As the time continued to wind down, less than two seconds separated Gonzalez, Wagner, Corey Heim (Nitro Motorsports), and Tyler Wettengel (Nitro Motorsports) as a four-way battle for the lead ensued. The leaders were able to pull away over the course of the final 10 minutes before Gonzalez took the checkered flag to claim his second win of the weekend and seventh of the year.
